Dr. Duvvuri is a board-certified psychiatrist with subspecialty training in eating disorders. He has treated adolescents and adults with eating disorders across all levels of care over the last 8 years. He has developed IOP through residential programs for eating disorders, including previously, as founding Medical Director for Adolescent Services at the UC San Diego Eating Disorders Program and currently, as Director at Cielo House Eating Disorders Programs. He has provided didactics and supervised clinical trainees of various disciplines for over a decade.
Dr. Duvvuri is also a Stanford trained neuroscientist with expertise in the neurochemistry of psychiatric disorders. He was an invited panelist at the National Institute of Mental Health conference on “Using Stem Cells for Biological and Therapeutics Discovery in Mental Illness”. He has received several honors and was awarded NIH funding for his research. He is Medical Director at Fremont Hospital and Associate Physician in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
