Body-Image Focused Yoga Class
We are proud to offer a donation-based yoga class for people with body image struggles or disordered eating. This class is held at our office on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 5:00pm-6:00pm.
The yoga class is taught by Kat Brown, MS, RD, RYT. Kat is a registered yoga teacher with years of experience practicing yoga and a strong anatomical knowledge base. Kat provides a nourishing, joyous environment to explore the body and awaken the heart and mind.
This is a gentle class focusing on connecting the breath to movement to relieve stress and feel more integrated in one’s body. Yoga has been shown to improve body image and decrease eating disorder related symptoms. If you’ve been meaning to start a yoga class but have hesitated to try one, this is the class for you!
